Never.no is a framework for converging TV with the Social Web by providing broadcasters with tools to source live social dialogue and display it on air. In addition it supports the ability to create on-air blogs which collect feedback through social channels.
GetGlue is an entertainment-based social network geared towards mobile devices. It allows users to “check-in” to the entertainment they consume. They can further write reviews, comments, watch previews, earn stickers and see what their friends are into.
WiO is a free mobile application that enables users to receive special offers and discounts from the brands they see advertised in television commercials and programs.
Tank Top TV is a website which provides curated/aggregated listings of TV shows from BBC iPlayer, Channel 4, ITV Player and Demand Five. Users can personalize their listings by removing programmes or categories. It also provides recommendations based on collective and individual preferences.
YouToo is an american television network. The network offers over-the-air, video on demand, programming on 100 cable affiliates. YouToo has a focus on mobile devices and social media. It allows users to participate in television shows using mobile devices. Interactive features include user generated video, commenting, and liking. Some of the interactions by users appear on-air.
